I have seen Thom and Sandy Gumm since they were with Denny Hilton. Always loved the show. It's been quite a few years now since I've been to a show but we're planning one before the end of the year. They came to Paola. Ks where I lived and I was dissappointed that it wasn't advertised by the Paolaians and there wasn't a very good turn out, but they came back to Louisburg which just a few miles from Paola and had a sell-out. I was in the front row and loved every second of it. They have it all. It isnt just singing, it offers so much more and brings so much laughter with them. The cast have such amazing voices. I was most impressed with the recognization of the veterns and members of the army,navy etc. That meant alot to me because my father is a vetern. I loved the show and will bring my father with me to stand up and show that he served our country.

Moved to the lake three years ago from Virginia. Am retired military and U.S.Government and traveled the world to include a combat tour in Viet Nam. I lived in Paris France for four years and was a regular to the Opera and Lido's and thought I had seen the best of the best until 5 Aug 2005 when I sat in the front row and witnessed an outstanding, talented, well rehearsed and professionally performed show that would put the Follies Bergere to shame. I opened my business down here July 6, 1974, and have seen you every year (usually multiple times!)since, so we go way back.
I have a special request, which I hope you can make a 'Make a Wish' come true! My nephew, Christoper, is 9 and has Duschenes M.D. I think his overt love of music comes from his physical limitations. He learned to spell his whole name to the tune of Mickey Mouse, and was singing the Hallelujah Chorus at 2 1/2yrs. old. He is more fun, at times to watch, then the show--he just thrives on it and is so sad when it's all over. He will never do sports and this leaves out playing an instrument too, but boy can he sing! Is there anyway you could give him an hour or two? He wants to see the stage and instruments up close, and meet you. He has a hard time in crowds walking and freezes up, so there is no persuading him to go up during intermission. It might seem a little thing to you, but it would be a monumental memory for a little boy, amazingly bright, that gives great hugs and has a huge heart. He thinks Matt is "just exceptional", has a crush on Wendy, thinks Sandy must be a saint with 2 clowns in the family, and totally laughs until he chokes. Is this request at all possible? Duschenes is terminal, he is one of Jerry's kids, and we are praying for research breakthroughs. He lives on A-Rd. and is a Tiger Scout in Camdenton. Thank you for listening, Romy

I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to say how much we enjoyed our evening at the Main Street Music Hall. The show was so full of excitement, I had to get onto your web page to help me remember it all. Next time I'll buy the video.

Gail and I have to say that your show is as good as it gets. We've seen Lee Mace (when he was part of the show) and we loved him. We've seen several shows from Nashville Indiana to Branson to Estes Park Colorado and we enjoyed yours most. We laughed the whole time and the quality was top notch.

Our trip to Osage Beach was the first time since moving to Bunker Hill Illinois from Pennsylvania 36 years ago. Our weekend was rained out, but the evening at Main Street made the 4 hour trip from Bunker Hill worth it.

Took a gander at your schedule and pics. Glad to see that your son is now performing with you all. He is a hoot!
I have been living in Poplar Bluff since June of 2002, however we haven't gotten up to the lake very often until recently.
I see a doctor up there, so I make a trip now and then.
Sandy, are you around during the daytimes? Jennifer had mentioned that you were on the air with her Mom in Camdenton. I managed a radio station in Wyoming for a little over four years and did a morning air program. I know Thom is a commissioner, so he is probably tied to the courthouse. I intend to make a visit there soon, as well, as I have some history to check on for my book.
I will enclose my phone numbers and address. Also, am looking for any pictures of myself at the Shindig, if you have any I could make copies of or know of someone who does. ( I personally have none) I need to get with Steve. He said he had some pictures that I could make copies of. By the way Thom, (I am not trying to be ugly,) but, I hope you are as proud of working at MY show as you were working for Mr. Hilton. Those things tend to hurt my feelings anymore. Seems everyone has forgotten I was important in creating that particular show. I have been dealing with lots of that stuff lately, setting the records straight. (I was the initiator of the Lake Association, but that conveniently became others ideas.) I don't need pats on the back for anything, but it is important to me that the history of what my grandchildren will remember about their Nama be made available to them.

What a GREAT Christmas Show!!! We attended the Saturday night November, 29th show. I can't think of a better show to see for all the talent, wholesomeness, and the price is right. Just wanted you to know that my husband did not exactly want to go to this show. Boy, was he surprised. He was laughing, applauding, and probably one of the 1st ones on his feet for the standing ovation for the solo violinist. He has been telling everyone to see your show when they visit the Ozarks. I usually don't send emails like this, but after last night, I had to. Our church group attended your show on 9-26-03. I have to tell you, it was the BEST show I have seen in your genre. I haven't laughed so hard like that in a very long time. All of you are so talented. The singing and comedy acts were wonderful. Matt--you are amazing. We are all still astounded at how you move and your ability to imitate others. Not only do you sound like them, but you look like them as well. You should be on television.

About 20 years ago, your show came to the Morgan County R-2 High School in Versailles, in which I was a student and now teach. Gabby--you sang "I Will Rise Again" that was truly amazing. You received a standing ovation, in which you truly deserved.

I wished you would have sang it the night we were there.

I plan on bringing my parents down to your show soon. I doubt that they have ever been before. Believe me, you WILL be talked about among my colleagues at school on Monday. Again, thank you for making me laugh and for such wonderful local entertainment.

We visited your show last night(as we do every year)but this time we brought our 4 year old granddaughter and she was elated. Beauty and the Beast is her favorite movie and when they came out on stage she was mesmerized. I can't thank you enough for the smile you put on her face. We live two hours away and she talked non-stop about them all the way home. As we get older (and although I am not that old yet) grandchildren become our lives and to hear their laughter and see their smiles is one of God's truest greatest pleasures. If Denny Hilton is alive and well, I would very much like to get in touch with him. As a young entertainer "On the road" in the mid 1970's, I saw Denny's show. In addition to watching the finest entertainment I had experienced, I asked Denny for some professional advice. He talked to me in his dressing room for a good two hours after his show, and I received the BEST advice about entertainment that I have ever gotten, before or since. I would like to thank him again, for his time and attention expended towards me. He is a great man.

We have lived at the lake for 10 years and have seen your show each of those years. We were in the audience Saturday (the 24th) and this year is absolutely the best you have ever staged. You are loaded with talent! Your son is simply a fabulous comic. Missy McPheeters is so great on the fiddle - violin - but what a voice. She has more depth than most female singers. Let her sing. The number (music teachers) with Matt and Tiffany Bryant was brilliant comedy. Tell Tiffany that Carol Burnett would not have done it better. (If she's too young to remember Carol B. you can fill her in on one of the great comics of recent years.)

We plan to come back this summer when family or friends visit, but only if you keep the music teacher number in the show (hope it's not too sophisticated for our Ozark audiences.) We've enjoyed many of your shows in the last ten years we've been going to Lake of the Ozarks. We're planning on bringing our three grandchildren (8-12 yrs) this late June and we'll be stopping by again.
