Thom
"Gabby" Gumm
Gabby Gumm, our resident comedian, is funnier than
ever. Thom was born in an ambulance on the way to the hospital and it set the
tone for the rest of his life of non-conformity. He was naturally drawn to
music as his father was a fiddler and his older brothers sang and played
instruments. 39 years ago his dream to sing on a country music show came true
when Denny Hilton hired him in 1970. Since then, many a night and joke has
passed and Thom has loved every minute of making people laugh. Thom has two
wonderful daughters and a son who is following in his comedic footsteps. This
year, Thom is also serving as 2nd District Commissioner for Camden County.

Sandy
Gumm
It's not easy being
Mrs. Gabby Gumm, but somebody has to do it. Actually, if you ask Sandy, she will tell you that she loves
being married to her best friend Thom, for 34 years now. They met 36 years
ago on Denny Hilton's Country Shindig and have shared the stage ever since.
Sandy believes Thom was attracted to her because she laughs at his jokes. She
is mother to Matt, Lisa, Jamie and grandmother to Jesse, Taylor and Emma and Aiden. For all these blessings she gives thanks to her
Lord Jesus Christ. Sandy says, "I feel blessed to be part of a great
cast and look forward to seeing all our friends at the show."

Dan
Schissler
The show just wouldn't
be the same without Dan. Not only is he the piano player, but he is the very
man who puts this show together. He's been playing music professionally since
he was 8 years old when he picked up the banjo. Shortly after that he was
playing nightly at the Shakey’s Pizza Parlor in Kansas City and later as a teen he performed in
the Strolling Dixieland Band at Worlds of Fun. In 1986, Dan moved to Branson
where he played bass for the Branson Opry House, the Buddy Green Show, the
Roy Clark Theatre, and the 76 Music Hall. The good thing about Dan is that he
is just as wonderful a person as he is talented. Dan is the only original
member of the Music Hall and is now celebrating his 16th season.

Eric
Mitchell
Now in his second
season with the
Main Street Music Hall is Eric Mitchell. He made his debut
with the Main Street Music Hall as a special guest in the 2007 Christmas
Show. A singer, songwriter and artist from Los Angeles, California he has a
smooth and soulful sound influenced by the soul and gospel music of the
sixties and seventies. A gifted artist, Eric turned down a scholarship to art
school, deciding instead to travel while serving his country, in the Navy. It
was during this time he realized singing was another gift God had given him.
He also discovered that he had a flare for cutting hair. After his tour of
duty, he gave his heart to Christ and his newfound desire to sing became a
mission to uplift, encourage, and inspire those who felt hopeless to have a
deeper faith in God. He began singing in churches, prison ministries,
homeless missions and other venues across California. He turned his flare for
cutting hair into a 12 year career as a hairstylist and salon owner. During
that time he had the opportunity to work at Warner Bro Studio, working his
magic on Eddie Murphy and numerous celebrities. He relocated to Missouri 9
years ago, and has redirected his creative energy to providing the most
comfortable footwear on earth at Heavenly Soles Foot Comfort Center. As owner
and operator with his wife Susan, their slogan is ‘We’ll heel you, we’ll save
your sole, and we’ll even dye for you.’ Their store is located right here in the
Landing on Main Street.
