Thom
"Gabby" Gumm
Gabby Gumm, our resident comedian, is funnier than
ever. Thom was born in an ambulance on the way to the hospital and it set the
tone for the rest of his life of non-conformity. He was naturally drawn to
music as his father was a fiddler and his older brothers sang and played instruments.
41 years ago his dream to sing on a country music show came true when Denny
Hilton hired him in 1970. Since then, many a night and joke has passed and
Thom has loved every minute of making people laugh. Thom has two wonderful
daughters and a son who is following in his comedic footsteps. This year,
Thom is also serving as 2nd District Commissioner for
Camden
County

Ashlie
Tucker
As the youngest member of the cast, this mom of two is no
stranger to the music scene. At the ripe age of five, Ashlie started singing
in church and she just couldn't stop. She was born and raised in the small
town of Weaubleau, MO. Her parents took her to every talent competition in
the state until the age of twelve, when "The Tucker Family" began
traveling around singing in every church that was hungry for good ole country
gospel. At sixteen she moved to Nashville where she began singing background
vocals for country music star Sara Evans. Ashlie traveled all over the United
States and Europe, taking her talent with her. While on this adventure she
had many opportunities to sing with other music stars such as: Michael
McDonald, George Strait, MartinaMcBride, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Rascal
Flatts and Kenny Chesney. She also performed on the Grand Ole Opry, CMA
Awards, Acadamy of Country Music Awards, CMT flameworthy awards, and the Miss
USA Pageant. But despite all that, she realized that home is where her heart
is. She moved back to Missouri in 2003 and has, since then, graduated college
with a degree in Physical Therapy. Shortly after college she met the love of
her life and is now married with two beautiful children. Last year she began
leading worship and has a renewed love for the Lord. Ashlie and her husband
serve at Faithbridge Church in Osage Beach. |

Dan
Schissler
The show just wouldn't be the same without Dan. Not only is he the piano player, but he is the very man who puts these show together. He's been playing music professionally since he was 8 years old when he picked up the banjo. Shortly after that he was playing nightly at the Shakey’s Pizza Parlor in Kansas City and later as a teen he performed in the Strolling Dixieland Band at Worlds of Fun. In 1986, Dan moved to Branson where he played bass for the Branson Opry House, the Buddy Green Show, the Roy Clark Theatre, and the 76 Music Hall. The good thing about Dan is that he is just as wonderful a person as he is talented. Dan is the only original member of the Music Hall and is now celebrating his 17th season.

Eric
Mitchell
Now in his 4th season with the
Main
Street
Music Hall
is Eric
Mitchell. He made his debut with the Main Street Music Hall as a special
guest in the 2007 Christmas Show. A singer, songwriter and artist from Los
Angeles, California he has a smooth and soulful sound influenced by the soul
and gospel music of the sixties and seventies. A gifted artist, Eric turned
down a scholarship to art school, deciding instead to travel while serving
his country, in the Navy. It was during this time he realized singing was
another gift God had given him. He also discovered that he had a flare for
cutting hair. After his tour of duty, he gave his heart to Christ and his
newfound desire to sing became a mission to uplift, encourage, and inspire
those who felt hopeless to have a deeper faith in God. He began singing in
churches, prison ministries, homeless missions and other venues across
California. He turned his flare for cutting hair into a 12 year career as a
hairstylist and salon owner. During that time he had the opportunity to work
at Warner Bro Studio, working his magic on Eddie Murphy and numerous
celebrities. He relocated to Missouri 9 years ago, and has redirected his
creative energy to providing the most comfortable footwear on earth at
Heavenly Soles Foot Comfort Center. As owner and operator with his wife
Susan, their slogan is ‘We’ll heel you, we’ll save your sole, and we’ll even
dye for you.’ Their store is located right here in the Landing on Main
Street. |
